Full Professor (tenured), Faculty of Economics and Business Zagreb, Department of Macroeconomics and Economic Development. She obtained her PhD in 2003 within the joint EDAMBA programme at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and the Faculty of Economics and Business Zagreb. She specialises in macroeconomics, employment policy, and industrial policy, is the author of over 110 scientific publications, and a co-author of several scientific books. She has received numerous scientific awards, including the “Mijo Mirković” Award (2005, 2008, 2013, 2020, and 2023) and the Annual Award of the Society of University Teachers and Other Scientists (DSN) for Young Scientists and Artists (2005). She has participated in many scientific projects funded by the Ministry of Science and Education, the Croatian Science Foundation, the World Bank, Oxford Analytica, USAID, CERGE-EI, and the Slovenian Research and Innovation Agency (ARIS). She is a member of the Field Committee for Economics and, since 2024, a researcher on the HORIZON STEAMbrace project, as well as the principal investigator of a bilateral Croatian–Slovenian scientific project (Ministry of Science and Education, 2025).
